Iconic Album Cover Booklet
Having been tasked to create a booklet revolving around the history of something of our choice, I chose one of my favorite artforms: Album Covers.
This project was a step out of my comfort zone, forcing me to work with Adobe InDesign. Through work on this magazine-style-booklet I became much more confident with work on grids, type treatments, and the importance of the research process.
It is often suggested to not judge a book by it's cover, but to me, that's half the fun. When I think of my favorite albums I instinctively see the album cover, the colors, the imagery, amalgamated into a feeling.
It should be noted that the text is pulled from various sources discussing the albums and is not original writing.
